Yes, you can wash your hair. Splashing your brows isn’t a problem as long as you pat them dry with a clean dry flannel as soon as possible. A handheld shower head is a good way of protecting your brows especially if you’re able to tip your head back whilst washing your hair.
You can exercise after treatment if you do not sweat too much from your head. You should avoid Saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs until healed.
You can go in the sun 10 days after Microblading, as long as you wear a strong, Zinc free sun block. The UV rays will fade a tattoo very quickly if you don’t follow this advice! Microblading should be done no sooner than 2 weeks after sun exposure.
You must wait for 2 weeks after having Botox before you can be treated and must wait for at least 2 weeks after treatment before your next Botox session.
You cannot have any of the following treatments until you have finished breastfeeding and you must not be pregnant.
You have to be at least 5 weeks prior to undergoing chemotherapy and at least 5 weeks post chemotherapy. If you wish me to treat you within the stipulated 5 week period, then written consent from your oncologist will be required.
Please speak to me about your health condition and I can let you know whether you can be treated.
In some circumstances, this can be done, as long as there is consent from a parent or guardian, plus written permission from your doctor and that my insurance company is happy for us to proceed.
As long as you’re healthy and depending on your skin texture, you can have these treatment at any age. However, I strongly advise a face to face consultation if you’re over the age of 70, as there is the chance that I may have to refuse treatment on the day if I consider, for whatever reason, that it’s not in your best interests to have the following treatments performed.
It costs £350, which includes your treatment session and a review session (to be used within 3 months of your initial treatment session), where any adjustments are made, if needed. I don’t take cards, so unless you’re paying by cash on the day, please arrange a bank transfer, which must reach me before your treatment can go ahead. BACS details are at the bottom of the page (Prices correct are time of printing).
The first session takes 1.5 to 2 hours and the second session usually takes about 1 hour.
If you have very oily skin, large pores, Rosacea, or dilated capillaries (a strong redness to areas of your skin, which is formed of small, possibly broken blood vessels), then there is a strong possibility that the hair strokes will not retain their definition once healed and the effect will be more of a powder brow look and in some cases the pigment will heal to a very cool tone.
If you require a very dark pigment implanting, then there is a small chance of the pigment healing very cool and in some cases, once faded, there can be a greyish hue to the brows. This is rare, but the possibility is something to be aware of. Also, with very dark shades, or if you want the strokes to be very closely packed, there is a stronger chance of the strokes blurring and over time, this will lead to more of a “powder brow” effect.
The result usually lasts between 8-18 months, depending on skin type and depth of colour, but the result can last longer (see answer to next question for more information on this). A Top-Up is advised at regular intervals to freshen up your brows.
You may always have a trace of the tattoo if you stop having treatments. With darker pigments it can take several years to lose the colour and in some cases the client may never completely lose the tattoo. This is normally associated with a very dark shade being used, so something to be aware of before you decide to go ahead with treatment.
You should have no redness or swelling when you leave me. All my photos are directly after the procedure, so you can go straight out feeling great!
You should have your brows tinted either 1 week before treatment, or 2 weeks after treatment.
As long as the old tattooing is significantly faded down enough, yes you can. If in doubt, send me a photo and I should be able to tell from that. You must be aware however, that I cannot completely conceal old tattooing, so you will be able to see the residual tone of the faded tattoo underneath my work.
I use the best numbing creams and techniques so discomfort should be very minimal.
Microblading is a lovely, natural looking treatment and you should be able to leave my clinic without any redness or swelling. Expect the brows to be 30-40% darker until healed.
Exercise is fine following treatment, however, no swimming, saunas, steam rooms etc, until your brows have healed.
It doesn’t matter if you have no brow hair, very sparse hair, or quite a lot of hair, Microblading is good for all brow conditions.
Yes, I have pigment shades to suit all.
*Please be aware that over time and after several top-up’s, the strokes may soften and not look as crisp as when first applied to virgin skin.
I charge £200 for eyeliner tattooing and a further £100 for a top up session 6-8 weeks later if needed. ( this is rarely needed)
2 hours
Between 1 and 3 years before you might want a ‘colour boost’ to keep them looking fresh.
You may always have a very faint trace of the tattoo if you stop having treatments.
It takes about a week to heal and there can be a little scabbing, sloughing of the pigment and sometimes some pigment is lost. Occasionally a client will lose a lot of pigment however, which is down to the way an individual takes the pigment.
You can’t wear contact lenses during treatment and for 4 days after treatment. Bring glasses on the day if you need them for driving!
You should have your lashes tinted at least 10 days before treatment, or 2 weeks after treatment.
There can be some swelling and soreness/redness for 48 hours after the procedure. I suggest taking a “One a day” antihistamine for a few days prior to treatment and about 5 days post treatment. Some clients have no swelling and/or redness. This is all dependent upon the individual.
I use the best numbing creams and techniques so discomfort should be minimal. Your eyes will be shut throughout the procedure.
The colour will start off very crisp and black, but can soften once healed.
Yes, although fairer toned clients may be a little more sensitive during the procedure and possibly feel some discomfort.
I don’t recommend eyeliner tattooing if you have very sensitive eyes and/or are unhappy about having your eyes worked on generally.
I put on a good numbing cream before your treatment, so you shouldn’t feel much discomfort at all. It’s a strange sensation, as you will feel the vibration of the needle on your eyelid and I have to put some pressure on the skin around your eye. It’s a very quick procedure, as long as you stay nicely still and trust me.
The colour will start off very crisp and black, but will soften a lot during healing.
Yes, although fairer toned clients may be a little more sensitive during the procedure and possibly feel some discomfort.
NB. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the treatment room. They can sit in the waiting room, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
I charge £350 for lip tattooing and a further £100 for a top up 6-8 weeks later if needed. (this is rarely needed).
Allow between 2 to 3 hours
Aquarelle lip tattooing is the best technique on the market, using top quality pigments and this treatment can last between 1 and 3 years before needing a ‘colour boost’.
You may still always have a faint trace of the lip blush colour.
4-5 days healing time and expect some light scabbing.
Yes, you may leave looking like you have had lip fillers but this swelling goes down within 24 to 48 hours. I recommend taking antihistamines after the procedure for a few days.
Yes, it’s possible to treat you, as long as you take prescribed oral antiviral medication for at least 5 days before the procedure and a week post the procedure. This is not a guarantee however, that you will not develop a cold sore and that this could result in a loss of pigment in the area.
I’m afraid it’s not possible to tattoo anyone who has this condition. In fact any vascular conditions in the treatment area, like varicose veins for example, are a contraindication for Lip tattooing.
You must wait a month after you’ve had lip fillers before I can treat you and 2 weeks after lip tattooing before You can have lip fillers.
I use the best numbing creams and techniques so discomfort should be minimal.
Expect your lip colour to fade by up to 50% when healed.
Not always. For instance, if you are dark skinned and have a dark vermilion border to your lips and a pinkish colour on other areas of your lips, it can create a very noticeable difference in colour once healed, creating a patchy 2 toned effect. I can assess your suitability during the consultation, or with a good, makeup free photo.

Ombré brows is very good for those with oily skin and you will usually have good pigment retention with this technique.
If you require a very dark pigment implanting, then there is a small chance of the pigment healing very cool and in some cases, once faded, there can be a greyish hue to the brows. This is rare, but the possibility is something to be aware of.
The result usually lasts between 1 and 3 years! depending on skin type and depth of colour, but the result can last longer. Colour boosts are recommended when you feel they are fading.
